What is the best way to record my keyboard while I play?
Im a musician and I want to contribute with a space theme song to this new space MMO thats coming out called Infinity that I can have my name in the credits. my keyboard doesn't have a USB plug. it has the following, I dono what they do: Sustain, MIDI OUT, MIDI IN, phones / output. i want to record a clip of high quality, with minimal interference. I have a 3.5mm stereo jack to 3.5mm stereo jack lead, and what I've been trying to do is run lead of 3.5 mm microphone socket on my computer to the headphone jack keyboards (The headphone jack is a 1 / 4, taken as a guitar, but I have an extension jack for that), but the sound quality is always bad. I also have a guitar amp and a pedal guitar effects that can be used if necessary, but mostly I'm just wanting a direct connection between very good PC and keyboard. missing, perhaps Microphone? But, again, has to be Pristeen without interfeerance etc. thanks in advanced!

If you really want to find an answer to your question, I guess you will not recommend www.google.com only problem is that may take a little research.
