Guitar Modes Lesson

In addition to classes, the personal contributions of a teacher, how can I figure out what to pursue next learn to play guitar?
I can play scales in all positions - and have discovered the modes (scales tap root only from a fret dif't starting position for example) - is useful to remember that each fret a note on each string is? does not seem worth it if I can still stop and think "ok this is 1, so that a maj3rd and a 5 and one 7 "or should I start to think like" ok this is G, which is B, D, F yadda yadda "part of me asks if I need to take a step back to make a little more "left-wing book" brain learning right now I think I could play a guitar pretty solid, but I want to achieve a style of more soil and fill to play as soil type Bireli Lagrene and Joe Pass - not that I would be as good as any of them - but no less style - to go on and guide ropes in more fingerplay and freestyle
I do not play, but I did see this page you may want to check it out.I created guitar lessons he has received hundreds of emails and calls people like you, with strong desires for a guitar workshop that would show them how to become an incredible guitarist, skipping all deviations "useless" that keep most people to reach that high level in the first place.
