The American public has always loved his music and his cars, and they still love those cars of people who created the music they love. The Henry Ford Museum will cater the whims of the public who have been longing for for vehicles that famous famous stars used in the past.
The exhibition called the Rock Stars € ™ Cars and Guitars will take place on June 9 this year at the Henry Ford Museum located in Dearborn, Michigan. The exhibition will show eighteen cars that are so legendary as the people who have approached them. The soul of rock and roll will be discovered to the public with the presentation of the cars, which includes tours of Elvis Presley and John Lennon, among others.
Besides cars, the exhibition will also feature a wide variety of guitars that have been used by rock and roll superstars.
The exhibition will show the cars, guitars and bikes on loan from other museums and individuals. The Petersen Automotive Museum, the Hard Rock Cafe ©, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum Inc. are the natural habitats of the cars and guitars to be shown on display at the ninth month of June. Christian Overland, Vice-President museums and collections for the Henry Ford Museum, has to say about the show: "Rock & roll and custom car culture are important expressions of American freedom and individualism. This exhibition presents an opportunity to see some of the cars icons of rock & roll and understand the artistic expressions of stars.â €
Among the eighteen cars to be displayed at the event is the 1965 Rolls Royce Phantom V owned by the State Beatles immortal John Lennon. True to the time where Lennon grew up, the car is painful in a psychedelic floral motif. This will surely have people singing quietly œImagineâ € â €.
Another legendary car that will make an appearance in the exhibition is the 1949 Cadillac custom designed by leading blues rock band ZZ Top Billy Gibbons. The car is dubbed as the â € œCadZZillaâ € and is one of the most recognized hot rods in the world of rock.
Another legendary car that will be displayed the event mentioned above is the De Tomaso Pantera 1971 that belonged to Elvis Presley. The popularity of the car is assigned to a shot of a bullet hole in the car by himself king.
Another vehicle that will make an appearance at the event is the 1932 Ford Coupe Sapphire œSilver € â €, which became famous when appeared on the cover of another icon of rock and roll - Beach Boys album € ™. Sapphire Silver was featured on the cover of â € œLittle Deuce Coupe album € popular rock and roll.
Another vehicle 1932 Ford also made the exhibition. The Ford model in question is the 1932 Ford Hi-Boy Phaeton Hot Rod The hot rod became popular when it was used by hard rock band Van Halen's music video for his song â € œHot to Teacher €. At the end of the music video, Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth smoked the tires of the car as he fled the school.
These vehicles have become a part of the auto industry in the fact that they have generated interest in cars during his tenure as the tour of the rich and famous. All these cars were known for their performance and use of spare parts, although is highly unlikely that a Nissan system entry cold air was used in any one of these cars.
