Guitar Neck Width
What is the usual size of the neck of a guitar begenning?
where the party starts in the neck which is the width of the neck? and how long neck and how much difference in width occurs wen becomes thinner?
Actually, I have no idea what you are doing here. Firstly, what do you mean by "where the neck starts?" Are you referring to the end closest to the sound hole and the bridge, the neck at the nut or neck / body joint? There are individual differences among brands and models of guitars and no "normal size" width neck or standard for this. In addition, the nylon string acoustic guitars have necks significantly larger than the global steel chain acoustic guitars. The length of the neck actually has a very limited importance. The important thing is the scale of the neck (the length of the vibrating string between the nut saddle and the bridge). The more scale, there is more distance between the frets and the higher the tension of the strings. This is one of the reasons (nylon string) guitar acoustic classical typically has more scales in the neck - to increase the chain - tension. All these things may be wary of another guitar from brand to brand and model model, and they all influence how you feel and play the guitar: Neck scale - around neck - Neck cone (taper as the width of the body to the nut) - Neck profile (lower neck or fret board) - Neck angle (angle relative to the neck) - Rounded) - a body Fret board radius (The plan the most number of frets - In which fret the neck joins the body - neck relief (perfectly straight until a slight bow) - Action (height the strings at the bridge) - Action at the nut - tension in the nut and the bridge (largely determined by the angle sequence of these points) - String gauge (heavier or lighter strings) - timber neck finish - String spacing - material Fret, fret height and size of fret
