Can a Gibson Les Paul owner answer my questions?
My old guitar was destroyed. All I have is the neck. I decided to keep the neck, and only the construction of a new body. I decided on a Les Paul. Can anyone give me the measurements of a Les Paul (length width height)? Les Pauls are hollow? Also, if you could give me any other information I could use to build this, please let me know. Any help you can get 10 points. THANK YOU!
The thickness of the body is 5 centimeters, the length of the neck is 44 centimeters. The width of the top ellipse is 23.5 cm (the round part on top), the width of the ellipse is less than 33 centimeters (the round part of the background). The width of the thinnest part of the guitar is 19 cm (between the two curves). The total length of the guitar is 98 inches. Les Pauls are not empty - the equivalent Gibson is hollow is the ES 137. A Gibson Les Paul is made of mahogany. I hope this helps!
