Learnhow I'm trying to play guitar, and I really need help!?
ok, then suddenly I want to play the guitar rite? So I my sisters old acoustic guitar, printed out some instructions on how to play. (Newsletter 1 Jamorama is what I wrote) yet when I try to play any chord, the strings are muted. (They are not to be in string suppsosed im trying to play) (im trying to play both AMajor or Dmajor) maybe im holding my hands wrong. paper says to "ensure that each finger is placed directly behind the fret" What does that mean? I know what fret is, but I do not know what they mean behind it, I tried several different ways, but all the strings sounded muted. grounds, please help me !!!!!!!!!
Do not try to play chords yet. Try to get a good tone, playing different notes on a string. Press the sequence until it touches the fretboard midway between two frets ... Now slide your finger a little toward the body of the guitar (from the neck), keeping the string pressed against the fretboard. What is "behind the fret. In simpler terms, do not press directly over the fret, but just the other side of the fret. You must press down enough to jail to stand against the fretboard.
