I need themes for the history of the school newspaper?
I am the editor of Arts & Entertainment section for our role. We have about a student body 2000, give or take some. I need themes for my article staff, and I'm running out of ideas. Some we did in the past: the evolution of the iphone-art social sushi-guitar hero / rockband-song meanings of music on the mind-cooking class to highlight students freshmen game direct holiday choir concert Marching Band. NEED IDEAS! Seriously, something kinda like what I posted above, please! I need ideas!
In my school newspaper, we always have staff writers pitch ideas - two per issue. They do not always have to write the story that came with, but they had to contribute. The more people who are contributing more time you will. Having said that: - Are there any Arts / Music / art classes or groups in your school that were not covered? Profile them. If the budget cuts have been a problem in your school, discuss how they affected people - Make a year-end/year-beginning higher, for example, Roundup / worst / weird / etc. music books / Movies / whatever in 2007, things you would like to see in 2008, things will never want to see again, etc. - Reviews! CDs, books, movies, DVDs, concerts, video games, even the local restaurants - all students at their school in a band? Profile them - Duel of opinion articles. Find someone who loves something, someone who hates it, give them one column at a hope that is enough to get you started. Best of luck!
