Guitar Nitro Finish

How do I apply nitrocellulose finish of an electric guitar?
I know where to get 3 liters of pure nitro for less than $ 80, but I need to know if I apply it after or before the ink painting, or paint is nitro?
Nitrocellulose as it applies to guitar is a type of varnish, and not something you add to paint or apply before or after painting. Nitrocellulose lacquer may be pigmented or clear and is usually sprayed on more than a veneer or vinyl sealer polish applied to bare wood. If pigmented lacquer is used is typically followed by several layers of clear lacquer so that the finish can be polished without disturbing the color. After up to 10 layers of varnish and several sandings through the final coats are wet sanded with fine sandpaper (600 to 1500 grit) and then polished polishing compound with a mirror finish. You can buy three different types of nitrocellulose lacquer for a company called Stewart McDonald. You can find your catalog online at http://www.stewmac.com
