Guitar Noise Reduction

What is the best takes to turn a head of a guitar amp quadbox?
I know that you can use regular guitar leads, but is any difference by using higher order leads, perhaps a reduction of noise or interference?
I'm a little confused, and it is my only be the Texan in me. When you say "take" I think the connection between the guitar and amp, but "quadbox" implies to me that you're talking about connecting AC power, so I'll approach it from that angle. Any noise or interference from the power line probably came into form before taking you are connecting to. I have seen advertisements for power leads that cost more than $ 100. Heck, I found an exit that was about $ 150. The problem I have is this ... what about the hundreds of meters of wire flights from the output to the breaker box and then to the utility pole. My opinion on power cables is that ... if the wire is of sufficient gauge to minimize the IR drop, and the connections at each end are of good quality and construction, you should do the job. BTW, I feel the same way about the cables, and speaker. In fact, I use the AC power cord cable of my column. Now cables low-level signals (like a guitar) ... that is a story a little different. The signal is much weaker, is much more subject to interference and capacitance cable. I still do not buy the cable "$ 1000" hype, or even a lot of hyperbole I read the Monster Cable. If the cable has a large shield, relatively low capacitance, and good construction that should do the job. Just my opinion ... your mileage my vary. Greetings from Austin, TX Ken
