Guitar Nut Lubricant

You can use personal lubricants to clean your guitar strings?
I was wondering if I could use some personal lubricant to clean my strings the guitar or guitar nuts. I'm curious to see if this works or damage the guitar.
About the only thing that will do is make your guitar sticky. Depending the coating and lubricants, you can get some spots. The best thing to clean your strings is WD-40 on a cloth. Spray it on cloth, or the strings, place half it under the strings, fold the other half on top and up and down the strings. You will have a fair amount of mud of his writings, but have not always cleaned before. You do not really need to clean up your nut, but putting some graphite or graph it on all lubricants is useful (no, the lubricant does not work here as well). Ernie Ball is also a sequence of cleaning cloths, if you like convenience.
