The guitar is one invention that dates back over 5000 years ago. Through the years, evolved into what people know today as an instrument of 6 strings music for right-handed players.
One of the things that a person needs to know before you learn to play this instrument is the parts that make up the guitar.
The top of the guitar is called the head. If a person wants to set the tone, it can be adjusted by twisting, and there will be a change of tone when played.
The guitar part that holds the strings near the head is called a nut. This can be made of different materials such as bone, plastic, metal, graphite or ivory, that can make a guitar sound different.
The fret serves as a guide that allows the User to the sounds of several notes. This is because each of the six string is made of a different width.
The tensor has the strings on top of the guitar. If the instrument sounds different, a little adjustment can make it sound good again. Many musicians do this especially if they are only borrowed for a show.
The guitar strings are held by the tensor and the bridge. The end or the bridge is the transfer of vibration of the strings to the soundboard so the sound can be amplified.
Regular guitar comes with 6 strings. The weight of each of these strings is thousands in diameter, which produces different sounds.
The inlay is a visual element on the guitar. It comes in many forms and the most common are parallelograms, diamond shapes and dots. This is between the frets that guide the person when to play and is quite similar to the different keys on the piano.
The guitar neck is the head, nut, frets, truss rod and the inlays.
The guitar body will determine the type of sound that resonates when the instrument is being played and its depends on the type of wood used to do it. Some people think that a particular item on the guitar is just there for aesthetic purposes. There is a purpose for each part and understand it, the individual will be able to distinguish a good guitar from a poor and have a good time playing.
