Guitar Nut

How long is an electric guitar size of the bridge to the nut?
This is called "scale" of the guitar. It varies. Fenders are 25.5 Gibsons. 24.75 are "ERP is 25". I have to say more, but certainly not all, follow the scale and Fender 25.5 " from the bridge to the nut. The scale determines the tension of the strings. The smaller scale, the string tension is smaller and is easier to bend a string, but the strings can feel a little nervous and / or mushy. The wider media is more difficult to bend a string, but you get a little more "pressure" the strings. As with most guitar stuff, it's all about personal preference. Rock on.
