What is the best way to change my tuning on my guitar?
I have my guitar set as the default setting, but many songs I would like to learn are changed to different settings as' open 'C', and I would like to learn how to do this, one way or to do this. I'm just nervous to do it because I'm afraid I will not be able to return to the default setting since I have done that.
Simple. Get a tuner. Standard tuning, each string must be EADGBE Down 1 / 2 step would be: D # G # C # F # AD # # Down one whole step would DGCFAD half steps Down 3: C # F # BEG # C # 4 half steps Down: CF Bb Eb GC Moreover, down tuning you will want to string thinker. If you play in standard 9s, 11s would be ideal for low C #.
