Guitar Tuning Question (First guitar)?
Hello I recently got a package squire start and it is my first guitar. I am a newbie to guitars. anyway I have a chromatic tuner and tuned standard way (and ADGBE). but I know there's something wrong with the way I look it. copied down all the notes of each string and fret with my tuner OPENE ADGBE FB 1 * E * A * CF 2 BEAD G * * G * 3 * 4 GCFB DG A * D * G * A * BE ADGCEA * 5 6 B * E * A * D * FB * 7 BEADG CFB B * 8 * 9 E * GC * G * D * D * BEA 10 EA DGCFAD 11the * A * D * G * B * E * 12 DGBE (repeat) * = sharp it doesn't match with some Beginner guides im reading online, some games and some not, for example, the 1st fret on a string must be a Sharp, but his B acute. please help
Not physically possible to have these notes in a guitar in the order you have them listed. Like Dan above all the notes that have been marked with an asterisk are really notes flat on the guitar - not sharp. My guess is that you want badly to read in your tuner or your tuner that displays apartments in sharps.
