Guitar Paint Ideas

What are the chances? Driving along and then you see a big sign flashing "Bob Dylan in concert. He is, after all, a true living legend. Since I had never seen him and I could not get another chance, I thought I'd be a fool not to grab this opportunity. Veronica was not too excited since she had seen many times before (her father is the quintessential old hippie make the annual pilgrimage Dylan). I tried to think of some ways provocative to sell your idea of spending a hundred dollars and a couple of hours of your life listening to music unintelligible muttered by an elderly man of 67 years.
I tried the idea of living legend, but she had seen before, so ... as we talked about, I stumbled on what I think is the real reason for anyone to be interested in seeing Dylan, even if it does not care about his music. Few people in the history of the arts ever make significant changes in how the medium is executed. Bob Dylan is those few. He fundamentally changed the way songs are written, not musically but lyrically. There is a noticeable difference between the songs before then their influence. Before Dylan's lyrics told stories in a clear and direct. The use of images was mainly confined to their own music, with melody and the structure of chords. He changed that. Now, it is common for the letter to be used as a vehicle to "paint" a picture as much as the way of feeling and music. Bob Dylan had a huge hand in making it happen. This point has an impact on Veronica and now she was really looking forward to the show (who wisely decided not to remind her that it would not be able to decipher a word that man sings - so I do not lose the argument entire letter).
We arrived just before the start without tickets and luckily able to complete the third row seats, which were somehow overlooked in the sale early. What can I say, we take a charmed life. The first thing I noticed upon entering the arena was the crowd. It's been a long, long time since I went to a big concert stadium rock, but I still remember how it was ... and it was not him. I really felt as one of the youngest there. This was probably a good thing. No mosh pits, groupies, the safety of the rider or clouds of smoke to obscure the reason why came. There was, however, a very large rescue young children at the local college ready to defend the whole show in exchange for cheaper prices of the ticket. Perhaps that is when some secret herbs fires were burning. He seemed a little breath drifted by now and then.
The show itself was very pretty much what I expected, except that Dylan reinvented himself as a keyboard player on tour. He only played a few songs on guitar and harmonica mainly used to add a little color here and there. The crowd went crazy every time he touched the harp though, so it worked.
Dylan is known for touring the whole music only a hardcore fan would recognize so we were happy to be graced with some classics like "Highway 61 Revisited," Like A Rolling Stone, "" It's All Over Now Baby Blue "," Maggie's Farm "and" All Along The Watchtower ". All nostalgic, bring you back-to-one-place-right-and classic time. For Veronica, a particularly fond memory occurred during "Rainy Day Woman # 12 and # 35 (huh?, Oh yeah," Everybody Must Get Stoned "), remembering the shock of his mother that his father was listening to" that song "in front of children. Daddy easily explained it as a song about Jesus, which is funny because it is (kinda) true. A childhood memory that has very little to smile Veronica.
It can be a bit off put as Dylan never acknowledges his audience, almost like watching a rehearsal. You can see it as good or bad, personally I find something to like in it. Lighting scarce - you never really get a good look at him, the stage very pared-down. It's almost as if the crowd is in the background. I can see how after several decades of performing these songs that he could phrase his lyrics on purpose so that it does not turn into a sing along. It occurred to me that the kids college (and some of the old hippies) should stop yelling requests for favorite songs, because that could make it all less likely to play them.
Dylan was not vibrant, but it does not seem to be an "old guy", too. As Veronica noted: "He oozed cool." He is, after all, with his introduction, said, "the poet laureate of rock 'n roll. The voice of the promise of the 60s counterculture. The guy who forced into bed with the folk rock, who donned makeup in the '70s and disappeared into a haze of substance abuse and went to find Jesus. "
And the band kicked ass.
