Painting a guitar?
Ok, I'll soon be getting a guitar body, not finished or painted only pre cut all the holes and form. And I was thinking about how to get the painting process. I The technique will be used is swirling that it is quite clear here http://www.projectguitar.com/tut/swirled.htm, but they never describe the preparatory process. This body ISS basically the shape of a guitar with holes. What I need to do before starting to sink in water? Sand? Primer? sealant? Please I need help.
Sand with 220 grit and move to 400 grit to leave a smooth feel of your wood. Put a few coats Cement primer (LAC). grain of sand with 600 between coats.
