Can anyone tell me what these guitar parts are made?
I'm making a graphic work where I'm modeling a telecaster style guitar and I have to specify what each part is made. Can anyone help me? Bridge Pickguard • • • • • STRAPLOCKS Neck Plate Screws for the lap board • Fret wire rods • Heads • Volume / tone pots
The bridge is made of white metal and triple chrome or gold as Gibsons Customs. Pickguard plastic laminate is cut and shaped. The support usually has aluminum finish to isolate the hiss, noise and interference pickup. Some reeds are made entirely of aluminum. STRAPLOCKS are made of metal and plated, chrome or gold Neck Plate are made of metal and chrome or gold. Bolts to the neck are nickel, stainless steel, chrome, gold etc.. and are mainly Phillips wood screws. Frets can be nickel or silver in Gibsons quality. A top fret material is cut in sheet metal and has 18% nickel in it. Martin Guitars use it. Machine heads come in all materials. Some are nickel, gold, black, etc. .. Gibsons also Ivory to cover the post adjustment in expensive models. Volume / Tone pots are encased in aluminum and made of different material inside.
