Squier Bullet guitar practice for repairs?

Hey, I have a Fender Stratocaster and I am very new to make any kind of repair or replacement the guitar parts. My plan is to buy a Squier Bullet Start and use it to practice several basic repairs such as changing the pickups, bridge, nuts, etc. (I prefer not to use my Standard Start for fear that I could do some damage) That sounds like a good idea? It is the electronics inside a Squier Bullet Start the same as a Fender Stratocaster Standard? Thanks Same as all Stratocasters?!

Yes, but there are several copies in Start, some are Squier, you can also get Yamaha. Find the cheapest that is the most similar, as some have humbuckers in the bridge pickup, or do not have a whammy bar.
