Boss Guitar Pedals compression!?
I need a distortion pedal to silence all my high that I'm always playing. Currently I looking for the boss ns-2 noise suppressor or the CS-3 Compression Sustainer Pedal, but I'm not sure which one is for what I'm looking for. Or should I be looking at a different pedal out there? Anyway, I need to find a pedal to do all my hiss and buzz going. What should I do? Which pedal is the one I need?
You do not need to compact distortion. A distorted guitar sound is already compressed, and adding a compressor will only make the tone sound thin. The whistle and Buzz are probably on your guitar. If you have standard single-coil pickups (guitar, like a Stratocaster), there will be a noise coming out of them, and worse the pickups, the worse the noise. In which case you would want to buy single-coil pickups, which suppress the noise. Tinnitus can be from the action of your guitar, if the strings are too low to the fretboard on your guitar, there will be fret buzz. It may be helpful to know what kind of guitar and amp you are using to get an idea of where the noise you do not want is coming.
