Guitar Picking Drills

Does anyone know how to poke a hole in a straw, without breaking it?
I know it's a stupid question, and I realized that I could just make a hole in it, but someone told me I could break it. I caught a guitar pick from Anberlin and I want to make a paste, but I really do not want to spoil choose.
I made a choice of one last year. If you take the pick and tape it to a piece of scrap wood with tape. have a pointed tool or a nail and make tooth light where you want to drill. Using a drill small (less than 1 / 8 ") and the drill set to a lower speed, carefully drill, where you did the tooth. Tape keeps the pick yet, and the wooden supports on the back so it does not split. You should definitely buy some picks similar to the test however. No take more than two tests, if you've used a drill before. That's the way it worked for me, so if it does not work, you upset the gods of the guitar.
