Instruments are not sold for the amount it costs to produce them. They are sold by the value that the seller thinks he can get for it. I played a Gibson (real) Flying V in the 70's. The tone is a one trick pony, or you love the tone and is the only sound you want from a guitar and that all your songs in accordance with the tone. Or you hate the tone. The question is: do you think is worth the price.
