Guitar Power Amplifiers

Guitar .. amp question?
Ok, so my RFX200s crate (solid state) amplifier that I had only four years now developed a question concern. At first I thought it was connections between the guitar and amplifier so I tested all of these. not the problem. The amp seems to want to give a big jump in win and do nothing but feed back or abandon altogether. I watched the LED of the channel when this happens and it seems I'm getting power fluctuations through the amplifier. I took the strip and put it straight into a wall outlet, same problem (repeating this with multiple outputs). I heard there is a problem, especially in boxes, the box with something wrong energy, and that israther difficult to repair. Is there anything else that could cause this? or I just need an amp New?
that actually looks pretty impressive
