What is the best result for a guitar?
I am currently in the process of building an acoustic guitar. Neck: Mahogany Headstock: East Indian Rosewood Veneer Top: Sitka Spruce Back / Sides: Indian Rosewood Bindings: Koa w / BWB purfling Sandwiches What's in a natural finish for use that do NOT affect the sound of the guitar?
All I know is that a sunburst finish look good on a mandolin. Furthermore, to preserve the sound, spruce soundboards on lutes are almost never finished.
