We are interested in recording the music we play, acoustic guitar and bass, so we can hear what sounds like. What is the best computer software now available under $ 150.00?
The best program to record your own music is GarageBand. It comes free with every Mac. It's basically an entire recording studio inside your computer. You can record with a microphone, plug in a guitar and lots of effects with the midi, use to simulate different instruments, use of incredibly high quality built in loops, edit your music on several tracks, adjust the pitch, time, edit note for note, and much more. It has many of the same features as Garageband. In all honesty, you should really Get a Mac, if you want to make music. You will not regret it.
