that the task of setting the guitar to explode?
I really want to play my guitar through my surround sound and I thought this would work. I plug in my guitar on my Marshall 10CD watt amp I plug another cable into the headphone on the amplifier and connect the other side of it on my surround sound. this work?
That amps (assuming it is the MG10CD) has an emulated line out which is designed to be connected to a line input, such as that on your surround system, so that the decision to use, not the headphone output. The output of the headset is too hot for the line input on your surround system overdrive and the entry of unwanted distortion and possible damage to the surround system if you turn the volume too high.
