Can you guess who is this person?

I am a native of Abilene, Texas, where I was born on 21 December 1956 and where I grew up on the farm of my parents. My father was a teenager he toured with Bob Wills in traveling medicine shows and my first public performance was at the show Wills' radio in six years age. As a teenager, I played drums in a local band and soon picked up the guitar and, eventually concentrating on playing slide. I went Kinky Friedman's Texas Jewboys in my teens and moved to Austin in 1974 to join the city's music scene source.
