Guitar Shredding Lessons
Im a change of 7-string guitar from a low of 7-string, I should take lessons?
I have played acoustic for 2 years and have been playing guitar style metal for 4 years and to change down to have fun. I never touched a low of 7-string before, but my brother has only a low Warwick custom tuned F #, B, E, A, D, G, C for my birthday and it's boss! The neck is HUGE and the frets are freakin a mile away. I can not hack on it. Actually Play I really can not at all. I thought I played guitar this would be a freakin breeze. I must have bass lessons and start on a 4 string bass or stick with the sequence 7 and play as a 7-string guitar ... really does not sound right.
I hate to be negative ... but I would say, If you want to play bass, begins with a sequence 4 or 5 strings on maximum. I'm sure his brother's intentions were good, but it is a bit like getting your driver's license of students and a truck in the same week ... A 7-string bass is like an ax expert, I never saw one. AF # 7 a little below normal and down is almost sub-harmonic. You need a subwoofer to listen to the fundamental ... and high C string? Why? It is a low ... 
... and if you are coming from guitar, I'm sure you realize he's tuned in 4ths all, other than a guitar, so there's really no advantage to having all the strings ... and the frets should look like a runway ... Should I continue? Peace.
