Guitar Shredding Licks
What guitar pedal should I get?
I know basically nothing about playing guitar. I'm starting to learn and enjoy learning a sound more rock, hardcore and later, when I get a lot better, learn to play some licks shredding. What guitar pedal should I get? Links would be nice. Thanks
First, you must decide whether it is analog or digital. From my experience, I started with analog pedals like the Boss Hyper Metal and Boss Metal Zone. I liked it so much that I thought I should receive a Flanger, Chorus, EQ, etc. Browse their products here: http://www.bossus.com/ After about four years to play guitar, I moved to digital effects as the Boss ME-30, Zoom 2100, Korg AX30g, and Digitech RP. I do not like the idea of digital, so now I'm back to analog again. But this time, I'm trying analogues, such as the Danelectro, ProCo, Arion, and Ibanez. If you really want a good distortion sound, then you should get a good Fender amp Marshall or time. The effects of distortion amps are much, much better than analog or digital effects pedal. I usually just bring EQ and Chorus pedals to fatten / Dilute the effect amplifier.
