As an old Rock N Roll guitar player myself, the first thing I discovered when looking for free lessons blues guitar on line was this: I had learned to play guitar based on some really bad habits. My management and harvesting were all wrong from the beginning. In fact, I did not know how to play guitar correctly which made it more difficult to perform blues riffs.
When I first decided to learn to play guitar as a teenager, I was told that the keys to learn to play guitar successfully be able to read music to learn the theory and practice, practice and more practice. But who had time, energy and money to do all this when you are throwing together a garage band? We had an accomplished player in the group that taught the rest of us just the songs you would play in shows. We learned the rest to us account - by ear!

I discovered quickly that most teachers of guitar or are not very good at teaching or who simply can not resist showing their prowess. Most guitar teachers simply can not communicate the basics. I think they forgot what it was like being in our shoes.
Teaching anything takes a certain personality type. You can remember a favorite school teacher? The teacher stood out from all others, because they knew how to reach you at your level. I can only remember two great teachers. I pointed out in their classes. Well, it's the same with guitar instructors. Most simply do not know how to reach us to teach us.

If you have surfed the so-called free programs, you know better than to leave it hanging or confused, because they assume a lot about your skill level. Most of these gifts are not for beginners or if you play other styles of music guitar. Playing guitar blues has its own set of moves and techniques to be learned on their own.

Guitar lessons blues are great to get your juices flowing, but if you really want to learn to play blues guitar, my advice is to go to your local bookstore or look online for a course that begins with the basics. You just have to start early if you want to sound like the big players blue.
