When playing the guitar ....?
I have heard various theories as to how you should hold your right hand. I have a tendency to use only the thumb to strum the strings and keep the rest of my hand relaxed. --- But all that I saw play does something with the index finger and thumb ... its kind of madness. Never had any formal lessons ... I'ts just me and my letter of chords! so ... if someone could tell me exactly what I should be doing, I would be very grateful! And no people, I hate straws ... AGH they really bother me .... and before that I played the violin so I guess a little of the finger thing is from there. thanks tho.
I use all fingers, probably because before I was with the guitar, I played the violin, where you have to learn to use all your fingers to the fullest extent that it depends you are using acoustic or elecrtic? varies
