Line 6 guitar amp recording on my computer.
I need to record on my computer with my line 6 spider 3 amps. Many different products out there that do this task, but my amp is an amp modeling, so it has all the effects built in and a door POD. Then, I was just wondering which product would best suite my needs. thanks
You could go the easier / cheaper route and get the Line 6 TonePort. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TonePortUX1/ not really matter if you have a modeling amp or not. Because depending on what you are doing, you may want the effects of amplification or you can choose to use the effects in the recording software. All burning software has filters and plug-ins effects. Line 6 TonePort That is not the best quality, but it will allow you to record the way you want. If you want to get better audio interfaces look for AudioBox by Presonus or Mbox. Pro Tools is the recording software # 1 in the industry. A lot of pro recording studios use this software. Pro Tools is great if you have knowledge, it is a waste of money, but if you're new to recording. I use Cubase, Tracktion, and Pro Tools. But mostly I stay with Cubase. Good luck.
