guitar sustain pedal
Guitar pedals?

What kind of pedal is used to play guitar solos, to sustain longer notes? I'm assuming it is done by a pedal distortion, but there are many different types of distortion pedals that I do not know what is best. Someone point me in the right direction. Thank you.

A guitar solo normally requires about a gain of 20 dB with some support and maybe a chorus or flange effect. If it is a solo rock, you will want a crisis, and it is metal, you will want some serious distortion. Many of the most modern amplifiers have these built-in, or you can pick up boxes effects pedals (Stomp) or a rack of effects that these effects. You can also get a single multi-effects pedal or rack, which has a combination of preset sounds, well as some banks that can be defined. The main thing about the game's lead is what you want at least three distinct sounds that can come in a hurry. You want a background sound clean to use when people are soloing or singing a means to the answer when you are adding riffs over a soloist or singer, but I do not to dominate the section and a solo sound that should be as personal as your name. You can have sounds more than this set up, but all three must be the absolute minimum. His solo sound is typically heavy on the midrange and to press most of the ups and downs. Must be a sound one can hear and the first thing that comes to mind is your name when they are exposed to it. There are also effects of modeling, which reproduce the original sounds that have vintage amplifiers. You can start with pedals effects built in tubes, and synthesizers that are triggered by the strings. The sky is the limit, but the key is to get a good sound without them first, and then add gradually to that sound! I hope this helps.
