Guitar electronics stop working?

The other day I bought an electric guitar in Memphis used a pawn shop. Your copy of a Fender Start MIM. Everything worked when I bought it. I on my way home stopped at Guitar Center and bought a new pick guard and nobs new to him. When I got home I immediately changed the pick guard and nobs, replacing all the electronics for the new pick guard. Once I was done I plugged it in nothing. The electronics were not working. I know for sure because I plugged my Gibson and it worked very well, so no amps or cable. I took it apart and found a cable came unplugged so I soldiers back but still nothing. Then I went to a local music store, who said that my exit was taken wired back, I tried to change the wiring, but nothing again. I looked for wiring diagrams and, as far as I can tell I have everything wired correctly. So now I'm at a loss, someone please help me. If you need additional information please let me know.

Hello, Garrett! The electronics of a standard Stratocaster guitar style is very basic, so more likely you are simply not completing the circuit. Make sure that the signal ground (sleeve output jack) and hot wire connection (tip) has continued throughout the circuit. Inspect each connection with a string of light, just to be sure of a solder connection is not loose or cracked. If you have a multi-meter or equivalent test device, check each wire for continuity independent of the point-to-point, otherwise, look closely for any signs of danger spinning. Place the whole shield on guitar, but not go back just yet, connect the output jack to an amplifier to test sound, even before the assembly final (installation screws pickup and strings). With the control knobs turned fully clockwise, gently tap each pickup at the poles, listening to the sound amplified in each of the pickup selector switch positions. Going through these steps, the problem should become apparent. Let me know if I can help more. Sincerely, Dana
