What is the best way to clean a style Epiphone G 400 (Gibson SG) without damaging the paint beautiful?

As mentioned I have an electric guitar that seems identical to the Gibson SG. He has the same type of heritige Cherry Gibson paints and varnishes. I just wanted to know if there is anykind of house keeping items that I could use to clean it Thanks? PS There are some signs of turbulence only in the varnish. not as scratches in the wood only very light swirl marks. I used to scratch-X and really do anything, anything I can do to have those swirly mist marks out of good Thanks

You'll think I'm coming with you but try McGuire Car Polish super thin .. Make a small area at a time and in no time you will have a shine well on your Eppi. I use the same polish on my hand built I am always happy with the results guitars.I. Enjoy!
