Could I become a guitar teacher?
I was now playing guitar for a year or two and now I have said (not to brag) I am a fast learner. This summer I want some kind of income, no matter how little, but I do not have enough free time to work somewhere like a movie store or supermarket. So the only way I can think of is to teach people how to play guitar. I do not know much theory, but I know enough chords, scales and songs. I want to teach, but I think people would be off to the idea of leaving a 16 (almost 17) years of age who has played almost two years to teach them. However I would only charge $ 5 for half hours and $ 10 for an hour. Honestly? No. I mean, I think its good and all, and you play Suck My Kiss well, but the teaching? people serious about learning the guitar is looking for a little more than that. But you may be able to find some that you can teach a specific song to U.S. $ 10 or something. You can advertise: "Learn any song for only $ 10!" You may have some people interested. But continue to play and learn his theory. In a few years, you could probably get a lot of students and charge more for the classes, to make a living ..
