How do you do 3 guitars sound good metal (EQ?)?
I am part of a band that plays metal with three guitars. A lot of time that is playing guitar a different thing to another, but it just seems like a wall of noise (not to be the case because we are not hardcore) and that players are authorities? What can we do? We practice once a week and once each, while we will sound incredible, but we do not know what is the secret to this is? Can any technical or known in the help or suggest some things?
Hmm ... Do you have defined roles for players in each song? I mean ... Rhythm, lead and support? If you have 2 leads then you do not even need a game main riff and another making harmony, maybe a 3 or 5 but above the main lead? If you are trying to blend between the notes of each other, then it could be a timing issue ... Start slow and learn how to speed up your notes get more limpas.-mail to you want to discus more ...
