guitar, what are some exercises I could do for the following techniques?
economy-picking Sweep-picking, tremolo picking for the hammer and pull-off curves in sequence
Here are some things to do: If you want to build up speed, do scales (ascending and descending) triplets, quadruplets (start with the third, after rising from the root to the scale, then continue climbing without changing your hand position. You have to do some jump rope and that's a great help in building your skills. Keep it all up-down-up-down. Improvise blues slow and work on specific techniques. Especially bending and hammer-ons/pull-offs. As you get better, play more aggressively (power) in his left hand. Jump to a great full tone and 3 half-curve tone. Eventually, you will want to go, 008 and 009's for, 010 'is 011' s. When you can get strong in these curves, 011's, you arrived.
