Fender Starcaster initial set.?
My Fender just does not sound right .. sounds like im taking strings of a violin .. its perfectly tuned according with a digital tuner it came with. I'm just trying to get a sound more like metal .. the buttons on the guitar tones, it does not affect the guitar sound of all .. What you think .. Amps is the shit came from or with the guitar?
The melody of the guitar buttons only affect the sound a bit. Try changing the pickup bar (lever Strats by little, has 5 positions). Each pickup sounds different, and you can set it between 2 pickups. Most of the adjustment comes from the sound amplifier. If it has more than channel, try a different channel. There may be a small square white button (which is what is on my Fender amp). Playing with all the buttons a bit and see what comes out speaker. In addition, you can buy effects pedals that will change the sound when you activate them. A distortion pedal is what you're looking for. You will need a second cable (a guitar pedal, the pedal near the amps).
