What is the best equalizer settings for a bass guitar warm tone?
I use a fender rumble 60 amps. I was wondering what were the best EQ settings for a quiet tone down (less noise, but not too sharp) in my Fender Jazz Bass Standard. Thanks =)
On guitar is: use the bridge pickup with tone knob on 10. About the amp: set your bass to about 07/06, your average about half or less (I like 4) and his treb around 8. Cutting your mids will get the rumble for the most part, but their sound Darkin, to boost the treb to help. By the way, hi Trebs will give you a better harmony in depth your game, and why you play bass, you can not get them too hi.
