Guitar Town Chords

Want to learn how to play old school country?
Ok first off I do not know anything about guitar - I just bought a cheap guitar, but I do not know a thing or what is the difference between a chord or a guide or is nothing. I do not need to be whipping riffs or Dragon Slayer, I just want to learn to play and record old school country type, stuff like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. What are some good sites for beginners and you know of any outbreak in the country of age? How hard is that thing play? I do not have access to school because I'm on a military base and do not have anything like that here (and I'm in Japan, so I can not leave the city). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you have a natural sense of rhythm and not be put into practice for some time, you could certainly teach you to play some country music. If you can transmit video, YouTube has some excellent lessons (I wish I had that when I was learning to play) and if you not like one, you can always find another. Another good site with free classes is called Folk of the wood and chordie.com is a good place to look for chords and songs. Good luck and have fun!
