Guitar Trainer Tascam

All great guitarists have some piano keyboard skills /?
I want to be a well rounded musician. I've been playing guitar for many years. I know that's my theory, and am working on sight reading. Now I'm trying to decide between buying another Tascam Guitar Trainer (my first break), or a Yamaha keyboard I I have a small problem with tendonitis so can not practice as much as I want to +, sometimes I get burt on guitar. I love music and I think the keyboard learning would be really fulfilling instead of just getting a little better on guitar. I just ordered a book to study rhythms rudiments snare (I have a loop). What do you think over my initial question? thanks for any advice.
Most great players do not have piano skills unless they were forced to take classes in as children, but if you played a keyboard, it was a good break for hands tendinitis since you started. I played bass and guitar for over 20 years, but it became very painful, because I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Since I still wanted to be able to play music every day, I have a digital piano and alternating between and guitar and bass. Once your hands are very open when you touch the keyboard, is a good move for them. If you're very serious about his guitar, piano, probably help because it is a completely different approach to music. Leaving your comfort zone, so to speak, you will think differently when you play guitar. Some people try to mess with many instruments and never master any of them, but I changed my approach to composition since I started playing piano. It's pretty cool. Good luck!
