guitar tremolo bridges
I just found out my guitar has a tremolo bridge, it is safe to use?

Alright to get it. I use my father's old Starter Pack Ibanez Gio electric and the next day he got me some new strings to place the first time, as in 3 years. So I did, and today I was playing and saw that the bridge was out of the body, and was overthrown in a 45 degree angle to the middle of the body. I was like WTF! I broke it! and quickly unloosened the ropes, and I inspected the bridge, did a little research and found separate tuners and the hole should be a tremolo that thing came with a tiny whammy bar and my father, his memory will not forget that he fell. Well, now is the species back to normal, and I'll get a replacement bar, but when I press on the bridge that makes the sound different just like a whammy bar. What I'm asking is, is safe to tune back to normal and regular use as a Floyd Rose or whatever with a whammy bar again? I'm afraid the bridge will appear as it did when I discovered it and break guitar or something.

If ya do not mind .. the model would be good. If memory recalls, have Gio Ibanez Floyd Rose Trains block, but has something like a point 2 / 6 synchronized train. They are more similar to the beginning of the Fender Floyd Roses. If configured correctly hold tune very well, nothing compared to a FR though. If I were in your shoes I would do one of two things. Well, even before .. Go to this site, http://www.ibanezrules.com/tech/setup/index.htm Rich is one of the more technical known Ibanez. This site will help you with most things tech .. If you decide to keep it afloat you have to adjust and find the perfect zero, where both the train runs parallel to the body and the strings are in tune. This will take a while to do, especially if a first timer. The second option, which is what I recommend is that you set the train to release the body. To do this, turn the guitar and unscrew the back cover. You probably see three springs connected to a claw, which is then connected to the base of the drive train. Take a Phillips screwdriver in the screw head and the two claw screws until the bridge is flush with the body. Then just tune in without worrying about the perfect parallel. You will lose pull up if you do, however, Trains vintage as your not getting too pull anyway. Well what do you want to do, you better know now than to take it to a technology because you'll get experience and learn how to do it for all changes of your string there after. Oh, and if the bridge does not "fly" will not break your guitar. If your point of the two train synchronized found in the wings again, then http://www.chrisguitars.com/fen04show-hh-nos-features.jpg you are well, they should do it.
