Setting up a Floyd Rose Tremolo System on a guitar?
I have a Dean Razorback V 255 I bought it new off ebay so it should be configured already? My guitar keeps detuning every 5 minutes or so. I loooked YouTube videos, but they're not exhaustive Any help? step by step help wud =]
Many guitarist has trouble adjusting the Floyd Rose for any reason. The back of the train system should be increased by about 1 / 8 "off the back. Here the correct way to define it. If you want the train to take more trips when you raise the bar (I do not recommend), turn the guitar over and loosen the 2 screws holding plate spring. Start with 1 / 4 turn counterclockwise. Tune the guitar and check the trip. Keep loosening the screws until you are satisfied with the course. If you want the train to be closer to the body, loosen all strings 1 / 4 turn, then tighten the screws 1/4-turn time. Tuning the guitar and if still not satisfied, repeat the steps. No other special techniques to adapt. Do not forget to lossed the fingerboard nut locking mechanism first. One final note. NOT STREETCH their strings as some suggest. In doing so, you are killing the strings completely. The correct way to tune a guitar is to bring the string to the pitch. Do not pass the pitch.
