I just recently bought a Gibson Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 Guitar .. This guitar rocks, but I'm curious .....?
'm curious ... neck seems be a little soft .. ive played many electric guitars in the past and I know that while your game if you adjust the neck just right you have effect whammy bar, the sound of the guitar ... but it seems to make it easy compared to relitively guitars ive played in the past .... no crack warp .. or irregularities neck as far as I can see nothing wrong with it at all ... is possible that the moisture (such as humidity) could make the neck slightly on the soft side? and so this will decrease smoothly over time to be in a drier climate? ... others that this issue paticular guitar seems to play very well and stays in tune very well Unless I hit the neck long, as I said seems to be much easier than other guitars? please help ..
Moisture is not the problem. Myself the guitar even ironically. A black. The Specials, as a great guitar (especially for the $ 200 + / - the price) will beat out of tune with ease when crossed. Sacrifices must be made yet. Hang in there, you have a great machine. Sure, there are better, but the deals are far from low-end. Just use neck to your advantage, as you mentioned, you do not need a blow, that is the purpose of the project of a Les Paul's neck.
