Interface audio recording, sound professional guitar?
This can be either an embarrassing question to ask, but I bought recently M-Audio ProFire 610 audio interface so I could get my recording studio going fourth. You get in an iMac. I do not think ahead, as much as I can get a quality sound studio with my guitar. After using GarageBand guitar effects i decided not to use them because they sound cheesy and "false". I called the only pedal I know pumps out a lot of distortion, which is my DOD death metal stomp box. However, their distortion a lot and get the same quality sound recording as cheese 1 / 4 usb cable I have that I bought for $ 40 (LightSnake to be exact) What I have is a studio quality interface, but I want to know how to get studio guitar sound quality, can someone please help me, I need guitar rig 3? amplitube metal? (im a guitarist of metal) I software completely? What do I need to turn these in? protools? cubase? 10 points for the musician who understands my question!
