Why do some electric guitar has tone controls?
1) hi why some guitars have no control of tone, is a guitar without control produces a lighter and better sound, because there is less load on the link circuit, b and c of the collector is connected directly to the volume pot, 2) decreases the tone of pots guitar pickups natural tone 3) Does a guitar with humbuckers mounted directly produce a fuller sound than Woody ring mounted humbuckers, alll pls reply, thanks pls reply early
1) "Tone" controls are analog filters. The manufacturer can choose (ie, for cost reasons) not to include them. 2) I doubt that the presence or absence makes for a "lighter tone and better." The system will have a frequency response. Two different may have more or less high frequencies, but from that fact alone can not say which is better. 3) The assembly of the collector will change the amount and frequency distribution vibration of the pickup gets from the guitar body. The ring may have mounted a feature to move the whole body of the collector instead of just the individual parts pole. This can create a resonance - which can be good or bad, depending on how it sounds. If you think there is something going on with the charge amplifier circuit in the collector, you can try mounting as Music Man used to use with active pickups.
