im trying to build my writing skills on guitar (acoustic) How can I do this?
I want to play like Jimmy Page too Because I really like summer white and black mountain. It would be nice just classic. I have some thiongs I wrote, but most are just chord bass bass bass bass chord you know things simple waltz timing. How do I break that, to start doing some serious things to classical guitar on the acoustic? Finger picking is mainly what I'm interested, but hackers are still fresh for quick things:) thx
Why do not you find a song with a fingerstyle (or whatever) that you like and learn to play it. Try "Dust in the Wind" is a cliche by now, but the guides are fingerpicking across the web and not very hard. Once this is done, take this finger pattern and try it with different chords.
