Help with a Vox amplifier ?!?!?
I have a Vox Valvetronix VT30 amps and I can not make it sound anything like the music I listen. I do not care if its not the best amps in the world in your opinion, but its an upgrade to what I had. What setting do I need to put it to sound like songs that rock? Or am I just better off using a pedal? I have a RP90 DIGITECH MultiFX pedal. I am relatively new to technical guitar, because I usually play my acoustic so any help would be awesome! Thank you!
My son has the same amp and can get some amazing sounds outside. He has that long, and spent a few days playing with it. Depending on what you have for a guitar, you should just try to play with the pickup selector and the different effects on the amp itself. Did you buy it again? You have the literature that came with it? I know that my son (typical guy) refuses to look at the instructions unless he is completely baffled. In order to be an option. You could go back to where you bought and have the guitar junkies there to show what you should do or what you are doing wrong. You do not have to take your inside, they have more! Do not give up on it. My son loves her and vows him. I can atest that you can get some decent rock sounds out of this amp. Good Luck.
