Improving the left spped, strength and accuracy?

I play lead guitar in a metal band like A7X mixed with P. Roach and we as a solo crazy. Only one thing is, i kinda ran out of very fast and melodic solos and wish to do some shredding. I keep feeling and emotion the shredding, but whenever I try to use his left hand as fast as necessary, the speed is not there. I tried for a few weeks now and beyond 1 or 2 licks, no results have appeared. all videos from YouTube does not help - so anyone have any good exercise for my left hand?

hearing decreased to 5, the game for a metradome, NOT guitar hero game, 2 different objectives, all together, also try this, wrap a rubber band around your fingers and sometimes a day to stretch it using only your fingers, it will help to play along with a metradome. good luck.
