I would love to learn to play guitar, it is easier to learn?

I want to learn to play guitar since I was a child when I saw the sign The Times of Prince. I desire to learn, now that I can buy a guitar and learn to play. So my question would be easier to learn and read the chords and where can I go to learn to play?

Here is the best way I know to have fun learning to play guitar: 1. First make a short list of your pop / rock (or any other genre) songs. Maybe 10. 2. Look up these chords to the web. 3. Choose the one with the smallest number of chords 4. Look those chords and learn to finger the 5. Play this song every day for a week or two, and you know the chords of color. 6.
